All Saints’
Episcopal Church
Embracing God's Love and Passing It On
Message from Our Priest
Dear All Saints' family,
On behalf of the Search Committee and your Vestry, Sr. Warden Joanne McGrath was pleased to announce at church this morning that All Saints' has a new Priest-in-Charge, the Rev. JK Melton. His first Sunday at All Saints' will be Nov. 27, the First Sunday of Advent.
Fr. JK is married to the Rev. Heather Melton, who serves on the Presiding Bishop's Staff as Officer for the United Thank Offering. They have two, two-year- old daughters, Lucy and Carrie. Father Melton's experience in ministry has included programming and fundraising at a church camp, growing and expanding a young adult ministry at a large parish, helping a small parish engage its community, and most recently interim ministry in Somers. Before going to seminary, he taught Middle School Social Studies. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Fordham, writing a dissertation on the theology of Rowan Williams.
Outside of work—and doing toddler things—the Meltons enjoy theater, museums, and nature. Heather loves to bake, and JK loves skiing and hiking.

JK is also delighted that the Colorado Buffaloes can play football again.
In his own words: "I am really looking forward to meeting the people of All Saints' and learning how God is moving in your midst. I was deeply impressed by the hope for the future that you have expressed. You have a deep desire for the parish to reach out into the community of Harrison, deepen your
participation in mission, and grow your parish. And it’s not just a hope—you have started this work! I am eager to see what God has in store for us together.”
We are eager as well for this new phase of our parish's life!
Your Wardens,
Joanne McGrath and Jim Anderson
