The Rev. Tami Burks, Priest-in-Charge

Called to All Saints’ in September, 2018, Tami is passionate about offering Christian formation, preaching, and worship that equip parishioners to go out and be Christ’s hands and heart in this world.  Before discerning a call to the priesthood, she was a teacher and director of Christian education in a variety of schools and churches in Pennsylvania and New York.  Tami has been active in the local community in a variety of ways over the past 20 years. She currently serves on the board of the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Local Summit and as a retreat facilitator for the Diocese of NY.  She holds a Master of Arts in Religion from Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary, a Master of Science in Early Childhood Development from Bank Street College, and a Diploma of Anglican Studies from General Theological Seminary in New York.

Tami serves part-time as our priest-in-charge and part time as associate rector at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Mamaroneck.  You will find her here at All Saints’ on the first and third Sundays of each month and at St. Thomas on the second and fourth.  She has weekly office hours in both parishes and  is always available by email at Rev.Tami.Burks@gmail.com or by cell phone at 914-584-1418.

Tami enjoys hiking, journaling, geocaching and playing board games and admits to being ridiculously competitive at the latter.

Tami has three sons – Alexander who is a middle school science teacher in Attica, NY; William who is a junior at SUNY Stonybrook; and Ian who is a junior at Mamaroneck High School.
