A unique theatrical concert experience recreating the atmosphere of the 1920's. SAX-O-PHILM blends live music, multimedia & world class talent. This concert event is unlike any other.
Sax virtuoso Chad Smith performs the music of Vaudeville saxophonist Rudy Wiedoeft. SAX-O-PHILM transports audiences of all ages back to a time during which radio, ragtime, silent movies and flappers reigned. Accompanied by piano, harp, and banjo.
Projected silent film and photo montages, vaudeville, interesting anecdotes of the period, and new arrangements featuring "The Craze of the Nation Band" highlight this evening.
Fully scripted and produced, the story line embodies the character of Wiedoeft through his style, humor, charm and showmanship.
