About the event
Sunday Morning Prayer
Some Sundays invite us into a quieter rhythm.
Morning Prayer is one of the treasures of the Anglican tradition: a beautiful service shaped by Scripture, music, ancient prayers, silence, and reflection. Rather than gathering around the altar for Holy Communion, we gather around the Word of God and the prayers of the Church, joining our voices to generations of Christians who have begun their days in just this way.
There is something wonderfully spacious about Morning Prayer. We hear more Scripture. We have room to listen. We pray for the Church, the world, our neighbors, and one another. And together, the whole congregation shares in leading the Church’s worship.
If you have never experienced Episcopal Morning Prayer before, this is a wonderful Sunday to discover it. You do not need to know the responses, understand the Prayer Book, or have any previous experience. Everything you need will…
